Free lockers are available for bags and clothes.

IKEA Museum is cash-free. Card or Swish payment welcome.

Yes you can. We have several charging stations in the museum car park, which are activated after you’ve paid the admission fee to the museum.

We are happy to offer tours with our inspiring, knowledgeable guides. Open tours are available and included in admission for individual visitors and small groups. Parking

There are currently a number of development projects underway in Älmhult aimed at strengthening IKEA in Älmhult for generations to come. We are renovating and expanding our IKEA Hotell, building a new museum and improving outdoor areas and green spaces.

For a while, parking options will be affected, and the attached map gives you a good overview of all parking options near IKEA Hotell and the IKEA Museum. Fees may apply at selected parking areas, both for those with and without charging stations.

Which parking areas are available and which are closed off will change rapidly during the coming period, so please use the attached map to help you find a parking. The IKEA Museum staff can help you with more information if needed.

From 14 April it will be possible to let passengers off/on the bus next to our newly remade parking area by IKEA Museum. See map for drop-off and pick-up points.

Accessibility

Everybody is welcome at IKEA Museum. Our visitors have access to the museum and the exhibitions, restaurant and shop. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact us.

We are constantly working to ensure everybody has access to IKEA Museum. If you use a wheelchair, walking aid or pushchair, you can move freely between all floors, through the exhibitions, and around the shop and restaurant. There are wheelchairs available to borrow if required.

Toilets
There are toilets with good accessibility standards on several floors, and three of them are extra spacious.

Personal attendants
If you have a disability and arrive with a personal attendant, they have free admission.

Guide/service dogs
Guide dogs and service dogs are welcome. We cannot allow other animals into the museum because of allergies.

Parking
Just outside the entrance to IKEA Museum, there are space for visitors with special accessibility needs (badges/permits must be displayed).

Charging stations
If you have an electric car, there are free designated charging spaces in the IKEA Museum car park. Talk to our staff when you buy your ticket and they will give you a charging code.
